The 32 cm Steiff Rocks! Woodstock Teddy bear, crafted from the finest multicoloured mohair and five-way jointed, recalls the legendary 1969 festival that became a symbol of a generation in transition. Over 400,000 people celebrated peace, freedom and community for three days, while legends such as Jimi Hendrix, Santana, Sly and the Family Stone, The Who and Janis Joplin gave unforgettable performances. Despite rain and chaos, Woodstock shaped the attitude towards life of the hippie era and is still considered a milestone in music history today. Steiff honours this cultural heritage with a Teddy bear from the Steiff Rocks series that brings the spirit of Woodstock to life with a hippie vest and the embroidered slogan “3 Days of Peace and Music”.
